Happy ManyDays to you all!

The alphabetical posts will resume in the new year. Today, I wanted to simply wish you all happy holidays, whatever you happen to celebrate (or not celebrate). My penguin suggests that stars are a good thing to celebrate!

There are so many celebrations at this time of year: Hanukkah, Solstice, Christmas, and Kwanzaa, just to name the main ones that are happening in the next week or two. If I’ve missed any, please let me know in the comments, and I’ll add them to my list of ManyDays celebrations for next year.

One thing I notice about these celebrations is that there is a focus on LIGHT in all of them. In this season of darkness (in the northern hemisphere, at least), it helps to know that there is still light in the world. As well as physical darkness, there is so much that is dark in society that we truly need to remind ourselves that there is still light.

This poster by Peter H. Reynolds says all I want to say. Thank you, Peter, for this reminder. (Take a look around Peter’s online shop — there is much to inspire you. Perhaps you will find a new year gift for someone, or for yourself.)

Happy ManyDays to All!

May there be peace on our earth.

I’ll be taking a blogging break until Monday, January 8, 2018. See you in the new year!
