Julie Hedlund is the driving force behind the 12 x 12 in 2012 Challenge — a group of 400 (yes, you read that correctly) writers who have banded together to support, encourage, teach and learn from each other as we each attempt to write 12 picture book drafts in a year — a draft per month.
